When it pours My hands too cold to hold yours In the rain On a supposedly sunny day You were right It was comming down all night In our way Just another rainy day We'll find a bus stop Or something like that Don't get your hair wet You can wear my hat When it's gone And we're left with just the sun And no clouds I'll take you out if I'm allowed In the heat Hot pebbles beneath our feat We'll have fun Just another day in the sun We'll find the seaside Or something like that Don't get a sunburn You can wear my hat You are my best friend It's only fair After all it's more than a hat That we share

I once knew a girl She knew me well Told her secrets I'd never tell I'd never spent so long Singing someone elses song It's a tune I won't forget A time, a place, a girl I'm glad I met Oh what she could do And do it well Had this look in her eyes Like a spell What a sense of style Such a catchy smile She'll rule the world one day I bet A time, a place, a girl I'm glad I met Got the chance to see the world Through her eyes Best thing that I saw Was the sunrise I once knew a girl She knew me well Told her secrets I'd never tell I'd never spent so long Singing someone elses song It's a tune I won't forget A time, a place, a girl I'm glad I met

Little Doggy 03:04
Little Doggy Waiting by the door for me I've got to go I'm so sorry Little Doggy Waiting so patiently I've got to leave Can you forgive me Listen out for the bell I know that waiting here's like hell Keep on howling to the moon I can here you and I'll be home soon Wake up early Listen to the rain that falls Just you and me And these four walls Decide to stay in And lounge about with noubt to do Just the payne that we're staring through Listen out for the bell I know that waiting here's like hell Keep on howling to the moon I can here you and I'll be home soon *barking*

Lovebird 02:40
When your heart flies away Tell your love she can stay All my tricks are worn And all my tears are toen Pain makes it hard for anyone to recall So when i try, I just bang my head on the wall Could this last forever Or would that be absurd Lost to the wind like a feather Off of the tail of a Lovebird Plenty of fish in the sea And birds in the sky Catch a breath of air And catch a lovers eye Time takes to long when starign at the clock So when I try, I might just give it a knock Could this last forever Or would that be absurd Lost to the wind like a feather Off of the tail of a Lovebird Could this last forever Or would that be absurd Lost to the wind like a feather Off of the tail of a Lovebird

Altough I love you I'm hesitant to Coz deep in my mind I know it's not true Something like this Shouldn't happen to me Someone like you Deseves to be happy I'm worried I'll wind you up That you'll break my heart Coz at the end of the day All I know, is Things Fall Apart *solo* I'm worried I'll wind you up That you'll break my heart At the end of the day All I know is Things Fall Apart Apart Apart Apart

Have you seen the weather in Keswick I'm going there next week Months of sunshine down the drain And know it's turning bleek Home's where the heart is My heart's in pain Everywhere I Go It Seems to Rain Went to sail the sea And everybodies telling me Son it's not where you live, It's who you're living with But everyone around me Is playing a game Everywhere I Go It Seems to Rain Doesn't matter where I am It's always the same I'm drowning in the pouring rain Again

about

Songs mostly recorded from within the lockdown of the UK in 2020, the year I turn 20. Recorded in my childroom bedroom of my Dad's house (the house I was born in). Cobbled together with burrowed equipment and socks taped on microphones.

When I started writing music I set myself a goal, to be the biggest song writer in the world by age 21. It's looking like that might not happen. But through writing music I have found a part of my soul I too often silence, belittle and shame. Writing, singing, faffing with keyboards, mics and amps soothes me.

A feeling of loss and despair has filled my head during this shitty episode of history. I now find comfort in this part of my soul. Some of these songs are despairing and defeated, some are daringly hopefull. All of them are valid and part of what you or I may be feeling whilst swimming around all these uncertainties of modern living. I hope these songs make you feel something, as they have already served their purpose to me.

Thanks from Arthur
